Children can read or listen to story books and information books in English and languages such as Polish, Chinese, Portuguese, Arabic, Hungarian, Malayalam and Somali. Books are read in 42 different languages.

World Stories is an online library of children’s stories from around the world including traditional tales and new short stories in 31 languages spoken by children in the UK. Children can read stories in their first language and then read the same story in English. This will develop their English vocabulary and comprehension of English.
