Sensory Spectacle, who provide support and advice about creating immersive learning experiences for people with Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) are posting two creative activities a week for children with sensory needs. The four week programme and activities are free, you just need to sign up.
All ages
The Drama Geezers deliver workshops in schools. They’re posting a daily video on their YouTube channel with drama games and activities you can do together at home.
Primary
Professional illustrator Mo Wilems invites you into his studio every day for his LUNCH DOODLE. Grab some paper and pencils, pens, or crayons and join Mo to explore ways of writing and making together. You are invited to send in your drawings and questions for Mo. Note that the daily drawing/doodle lessons are 1pm ET which is 5pm our time. However they remain online to be streamed afterwards.

EYKS KS1/2 SEND
Make galaxy playdough out of kitchen and craft ingredients. Good for children who like tactile activities.
On TV - news broadcast or story time
KS1, KS2
(For KS1 children they could read a story, say key lines or words, along with an adult)
Make a television screen out of a cardboard box. Controls etc can be drawn onto the side of the box. Children can then make up their own news broadcast or reads a story using the box as if they are on TV. This can be recorded and played back.

The Singing Hands You Tube channel has a range of stories, rhymes and pop songs for children with hearing impairments to sign along with. There’s also a daily story at 10:30.
All ages
Details about LIVE Facebook music-making session for children/ young people of all ages with PMLD and SLD. Led by music practitioner Emma Hughes. Tune in! Don’t forget to bring your musical instruments and pots and pans.
Has your child spotted any rainbows in windows during your daily walk? Why not have a go at painting or collaging one together to display in your window? Rainbows can be a reminder to stay positive at this time.
